A glorious manor in the heart of the Cotswolds
Built in the 17th Century, Pye Corner House has been lovingly restored over the last 25 years by the King family – their Anglo-Indonesian heritage woven through each and every room to create a place of charming character and happy contradiction.
A luxury self-catered Cotswold manor, the main house sleeps up to 16 guests, with room for four more in a stylish self-contained flat. Two nearby historic churches make it a beautiful Cotswold wedding venue, while many escape here for family get-togethers and a chance to connect with nature.
KITCHEN
Pye’s bright and welcoming kitchen is the heart of our home. Fully equipped with all mod-cons, it boasts a Lacanche range cooker and walk-in pantry making it the ideal space to cook and connect over feasts of fresh, local ingredients.
Guests are invited to forage herbs and vegetables from the kitchen garden and pick fruit from the orchard, while meat and dairy can be sourced from local farms and the Broadway butchers. A concierge service can also arrange catering on request.
Food can be served al fresco on the patio or in the kitchen itself – simply throw open the double French doors to savour stunning views of the grounds.
LIVING SPACES
Work, play, or hide away – Pye’s ground floor living spaces suit every mood and moment. Seek solitude in the breakfast room-come-study, relax in our formal sitting room, or spend family time in the snug with its large smart TV, plush sofas, and games collection. Our log burners make winter nights feel cosy, while good Wifi throughout the house ensures guests can stay as connected as they wish.
DINING ROOM
With its heavy velvet curtains, ancient wooden beams, oak panelling and large inglenook fireplace, the Pye dining room is at once atmospheric and historic. Refectory oak dining tables can be arranged to seat up to 20 guests, making it a standout space for more formal occasions.
PLAY ROOM
Hidden away at the top of the main house is a spacious area perfect for children. Toys, books, a smart TV and dressing-up box are just some of the treasures we’ve curated for little people – all of which can be hidden away so grown-ups can enjoy the space too.
COSY TWO-BEDROOM APARTMENT
Our lovingly refurbished self-contained apartment sleeps four guests across one double room and one cosy twin room, and is available at an extra cost. Accessible by an external staircase (which makes it unsuitable for young children) it features exposed oak beams throughout and an airy open-plan feel, plus a kitchen and sitting room with TV and Wifi.
