During our peak holiday seasons, to coincide with the school holiday calendar, we ask that guests stay for a minimum of seven nights.

For the rest of the year, Pye is available for stays upwards of two nights (and three nights when our swimming pool is open). We encourage guests to enquire and we will do our utmost to accommodate your request where possible.

Arrival time is 4pm and check out is 10am, except on two-night weekend stays when it’s 4pm on Sunday. Upon arrival guests will be met by our House Manager with a warm smile and a welcome tea.

Please note: Pye is a self-catering house and, as such, not staffed. However, guests can hire local caterers if they wish to host dinner parties and we’re happy to provide a list of recommended suppliers on request. Should guests wish to bring their own staff, they can be comfortably accommodated in our self-contained apartment.

On the first floor, five of the bedrooms come with double beds and there is a further twin room. Two bedrooms are en-suite, with two spacious bathrooms to be shared between the other four. On the second floor, there are two twin bedrooms with a full bathroom situated happily between them.

Our cosy self-contained apartment sleeps four guests in one double room and a twin – and includes a bathroom with shower. With its own open-plan sitting room/kitchen and dining area, it’s ideal for guests who may want to escape the melee of the main house. The apartment is available to hire in conjunction with the main house at an extra cost of £200 per night.

We’re happy to accommodate two small dogs for an additional charge of £100 per dog, so long as they stay on the ground floor of the house at all times.

Sky, Apple TV, and Wifi can be found throughout the house with a large smart television found in our snug. Wifi and a television can also be found in our two-bedroom apartment.

Everything is perfectly set up as would be expected in a home of this size. The fully-equipped kitchen boasts a Lacanche range cooker and multiple fridges, freezers, a microwave, and two dishwashers – and there is ample space for further food storage in the walk-in pantry next to the kitchen. In the large utility room is a large-capacity washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as separate butlers’ sinks. Meanwhile additional sets of crockery and cutlery can be found in our breakfast room.

Our outdoor heated swimming pool is open from the beginning of May to the end of September and is heated by an air source heat pump to a comfortable temperature dependent on the ambient air temperature. It is situated in a secluded part of the garden, across the stream and surrounded by beautiful trees. The pool is serviced once a week.

Guests can bask in two acres of walled and gated gardens including an extensive formal garden, a croquet lawn, children's play equipment and greenhouses. Plenty of outdoor seating areas and a BBQ are also included.

Pye is always fully dressed for Christmas with several magical Christmas trees each year, so guests can enjoy this special time in style.
